True Love...
"Love is never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn't want it doesn't have.
Love doesn't strut,
Doesn't have a swelled head,
Doesn't force itself on others,
Isn't always 'me first,'
Doesn't fly off the handle,
Doesn't keep score of the sin of others,
Doesn't reveal when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything
Trust God always,
Always look for the best,
Never looks black
But keeps going to the end."

Bathroom Primping
I arrive to the church to take photos for Kristin and Eric's rehearsal and Robyn (the wedding cordinator) rushes me into the bathroom and says: "This is a cute moment! Capture it!" So now I have bathroom primping pictures.

Continuing the Photo Edits
With extra time on my hands I've been playing with photoshop and picassa to edit the wedding photos I've been taking. I'm not exceptionally talented with either of these programs. I basically adjusted the lighting, blurred the background, and made it a focal black and white... but what makes this photo amazing is not my photographic ability or computer ability but how happy Robyn is.
That is the pure joy of taking wedding photos.

Wedding Edits
Since I finally am having time to sit down and edit the wedding photos I've taken, I'm enjoying the opportunity to play around with photoshop a bit more. It's nice to get these done since Jamey's wedding was in April.

Shirts and Sunglasses
Dylan and I wore the same shirt for the same event, just different years. His was for the Anthem 2009 and mine was for the anthem 2010. This picture would have been better if I had green sunglasses.

Going to the Chapel...
I'm running out of creative titles for posts about weddings. This is number four since April. I love my friends, I love that they are starting this new phase in their life, but must they all begin it within a three month period?
This wedding allowed me to travel to Saratoga, near San Jose to a camp area where Teresa and Andrew married each other. It was beautiful but a little cold, being outside and up north. But the most fun was camping at the cam site right after the wedding.

Paper Airplanes
Teresa and Andrew's wedding was at a camp in Saratoga. They were having a kids camp the same week and I think they were there right before the wedding because Sarah and I found two paper airplanes stuck in rock. They stayed there throughout the evening and I wonder if anyone noticed them?

Trespassing Part Two
Andrew and Teresa wanted engagement photos taken so I willing drove them to the same spot they got engaged in. This would be the second time I "trespassed" on someone's property. It wasn't really really trespassing since a.) there was no sign forbidding it and b.) we were in between two properties so the line was fuzzy. It was well worth it since the pictures turned out AMAZING!

Hey Jude
I love this picture of Robyn and Danny. They had a beautiful ceremony (and are also the reason I'm really behind on blog posts, editing all their pictures). I think the best part was Robyn walked down the aisle to "Hey Jude" by the Beatles. It was epic and amazing.

Oh Bryce
I love this kid. He cracks me. I hear he is a very active child but he somehow manages to be shy around me all the time. Well I will break him of that this summer. Yes his dad is my project director and I get the joy of hanging out with him a lot.

Seabeck
This is the view from the house we stayed at while in Washington for Jimmy and Kari's wedding. It was amazingly beautiful. It looked like another world. It's this tiny town called Seabeck - north of Seattle. And this house is huge too!

Mr. and Mrs. Dixon
I can't believe that Kari and Jimmy are married. This was of course their getaway car - that they drove around the block. Anyway, Kari comes up to me and asks me to take pictures of her and Jimmy with the car. When I asked where her photographers went, she told me their time limit was up. So I was the replacement.

The Other Bubblegum Alley
Bet you didn't know there was a first one. Yes the first one is a disgusting looking alley in SLO. The one in Seattle is more like a wall, but let me assure its still just as gross.

The Infamous Pink Snuggie
Today we travelled to San Francisco to leave from SFO airport to Washington. We stayed at Jessica Uhl's house and there we found the pink snuggie. Fun fact - Nicole proceeded to wear this for the next hour. Apparently its comfortable and creepy looking.

The Right Moment
I wasn't in charge of the wedding portraits but I did manage to follow Sarah (the other photographer) around and got some great candid shots of the bride in between shots. This is my favorite of Jamey and her bridesmaids.
Funny story about one of the bridesmaids. The girl in the short hair on the bottom right, Molly, is the niece of my elementary school's receptionist. Crazy small world.

Decorations
I was in Bakersfield for the wedding of one my close friends from my summer project in Fresno three years ago. She asked me to help take pictures of her wedding and this is the first one released publicly. I loved the way they decorated the church, and closed off the center aisle for everyone but the bridal party.
