Night Sky

Rain + city skyline + clouds equal greatness. Fortunately I managed to get a few shots on from the moving car I was in as we travelled over the freeway. 

San Francisco

I love this city. I haven't spent much time here but I love the hidden gems of the city. Like this church for example.

Balcony

This was my spot three years ago. Since I lived in an upstairs apartment, I would come out here all the time to talk, to think, or just to be.

This time around at FUI - I've spent very little time up here. Not that I don't want to (ok maybe I'm a little grossed out by some of the furniture) but I just don't need to be here all the time. But it still manages to be a great place to take pictures.

The City

Quiet Times in Fresno

Today was my first day in Fresno for my six week urban internship project with FIFUL. We started out our staff orientation with a retreat of silence in order to get our hearts and minds in the right place, which was necessary because when Sarah and I moved into our apartment, we found it to be completely unfurnished. We had a feeling this might happen but there aren't even lights in the bedroom. But it's ok to not be in control and to not have lights in the bedroom.
