Baby It's Cold Outside

December has arrived! This means several things. First off, it is time to brush off the dust from those Christmas records and start playing Holly Jolly tunes of Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanza/Holiday music (pick your celebrated winter Holiday and insert it's music here).

Also it means that Baby It's Cold Outside Inside. My house is like a freezing icebox and I am cold 24/7. I can't wait to go home for break and be in 70 degree weather again.

December is also my birthday month so I will be celebrating during 23. Finally, December 1st means that we have exactly one month left before the blog will come to an end. No tears necessary - I will be starting another one in 2011 to feed my own ideas of my supposed importance in the world.

Rain, oh Rain

Rain has come back to SLO for another visit. And much like all her visits, she is fickle about how long she wants to hang around. She'll cause some trouble for an hour or two before leaving and letting the sun come out to play. And just as you think the rain is gone for the day, she'l come back out in heavy storms, dampening what was just becoming dry. That is just the way she rolls.

The Wells Fargo Lake

Wells Fargo has its own lake. See below for a better view of how deep this thing is:

I'm not quite sure how this happened (besides the obvious rain) but there you have it - a lake right in the middle of a parking lot.

Song for the Rainy Season

"Hidden, oh hidden
in the high fog
the house we live in
beneath the magnetic rock,
rain -, rainbow-ridden"

Snow

Obviously I didn't take this today
But I really love this picture.
And sometimes I miss snow
