Lyn's Bachelorette Party of Awesomeness

Tonight was Lyn's Bachelorette Party (which is a hard word to spell) of epic proportions. We dressed up in vintage clothing and hit the town for a scavenger hunt and even got serenaded along the away. Can't reveal too many details but it was a night to remember.

Some S's

Here we have some S's. Sarah, Sarah, and Sydney. I just like them and this picture. Sarah Henry (on the farthest left) and I are were apart of the awesome cooking crew with a different Sarah (not the one pictured here) for Chapter Camp. This was during our break time.

Orange Circle

Melody had a long over due adventure. I drove down to her home town and ate a late breakfast at her favorite place and explored the orange circle. Little did I know that I had actually been here before - two years ago for an InterVarsity leadership retreat.

This sign is from the street of thrift stores. They were everywhere. This is not from one of the thrift stores but from one that made a lot of signs about Jesus.

FIRM Family Festival

Carolyn and Jaret who work with FIRM (Fresno Interdenominational Refugee Mission) invited us to go to the FIRM family festival where they have crafts and hang out time with the refugee families in Fresno. We brought sidewalk chalk and drew with the kids. We also were encouraged to participate in other activities, which included face painting for many of us. It was a great day, not only to see another person's site, but to play with these kids.

Firestone Pints and Melody

This is how the conversation went:
"It's really cold." - Sarah
"You know beer would make us warmer." - Me
(with a large smile) "Yes it would." - Dylan

Melody came into town too which made our Firestone adventure all the more epic. And she bought us Firestone fries - which are the best fries known to mankind.
