I've become an expert at prayer letter pictures for IV staff. Above is the Alan Hancock College and below is Cal Poly.

The Fort
Today for bible study - we met in a fort. It looked like an underwater fort because of the blue sheet you see. I wanted to draw fished to put on the sides of the beds.

Graduation!
4 years later:
- I changed my major only once
- I read a lot of books I tried to avoid in high school
- I stopped caring about my GPA when I got my first C in a class (thanks biology!)
- I lead two AWESOME bible studies
- I went on a mission trip to Fresno and decided to go back a lot
- I had an awesome roommate for three years
- I took more pictures than more people do in a lifetime
- I had three cameras total
- I lost some family members, gained perspective
- Gained student loans :)
- Had late night adventures
- Tried new things, found new problems
- Took a lot of risks
- Still have never broken a bone (and it will never happen I hope)
- Still never got a speeding ticket
- Joined the best club ever
- Bought too many Cal Poly sweatshirts
- Love a lot of people
- Grew up, forgave much
Even as college is over (and I won't get too sentimental) I can look back at all the awesome pictures I took (which are a lot) and remember the fond times, the crazy adventures, and the transformations I experienced in only four years.

Area Greatness and Matchiness
A while back I showed you all the picture of my area t-shirt. Well this is us all wearing them together. We look pretty awesome if I do say so myself. I think it is one of the best "funny" pictures I've been in too because we are all doing something crazy.

Fremont Picnic Shenanigans
So the Fremont Bible Study decided it would be a good idea to have a picnic. And after many games we decided to have a photoshoot adventure. It included the epic and dramatic tale of girls' quest for a many and the failure of many. Tim with his awesome sunglasses attracts many women but can only have one. Check my facebook for the whole epic tale.

Unity Night
This is the second year in a row I've participated in Unity Night Last minute. Last year I was in a skit that we asked to put in the program like a week before, this year I asked our worship leader if he needed help and three days before I was put in the worship band.

Self in Snow
So it has become tradition for the first day of the month self portrait and here it is. Wearing shorts near the snow isn't the best idea (ok so it was left over snow and it was only like 70 degrees out).

Omelets
At our last day at camp we had an Omelet station. Normally I would have put our group picture but the Omelet station picture was too awesome to pass up. What kind of camp has an omelet station? Seriously they had the best food ever. It was so amazing.

Spin Wheel of Death
This is officially one of the worst ideas ever. It didn't end disaster but only by the grace of God.

Lady Bugs
Chelsey, Marissa, and I went on a hiking adventure and found hundreds of lady bugs. Apparently there are millions in the area - we didn't find the huge swarms of them so they are still beautiful.

Manuscript
Since I have already two posts about Spring Break Camp I should probably describe what it is. We take a manuscript of a book of the bible (like the one above) and write all over it - marking it with colored pencils and markers and such. We make connections to other Old Testament references, looking for images, connections and overall themes.
The first time you attend SBC you study the first half of the gospel of Mark, the second time you go study the second half of Mark. Then you are left to the hands of fate, or God, to decide what you will study next. Last year it was 1 Corinthians, this it was Amos.
And if you ever studied Amos - he is hardcore that's for sure.

Playing in the Snow
Day Two of Spring Break Camp:
Featuring: Snow!
So there was snow at camp. It provided for a great amount of fun and snow ball fights.

Trespassing
On our way to Spring Break Camp in the Sequoia Mountains - our car decided to take a quick adventure. That meant pulling off the to the side of the road, crawling under a barb wire fence, and crossing into what was most like private territory. Sure we may have been trespassing, but I would consider it exploring. But we didn't harm anything - just looked around.
And this is what we found so it was worth it.

Hidden in a Box
Inside this box are the secrets of Cal Poly students.
My secret: Every time I'm near this box and I see someone put an anonymous one in, I want to take it out and read it. It takes a lot of strength not to.

What's the Deal with Secrets?
This week IVSLO is allowing the space for Cal Poly students to share their secrets with everyone by writing them on cards and posting them on giant boards (which you can't see) - our campus is too bottled up and needs to experience God's healing from secrets and masks.
P.S. The Burlap smells. It also reminds me of the last major outreach we did - Impact One where we talked about AIDS in Africa. The grass is still healing from our giant tent (three years ago)

Secrets Unveiled: The Preparation
The afternoon was spent painting, constructing, and sewing burlap for our Secrets Outreach happening next week. I think I spent more time taking pictures of other people doing work than I actually did work myself.
For those in SLO come by Dexter Lawn Tuesday - Thursday to see our Secrets Unveiled event. And on Friday at 7 pm in the Business Silo. It will be worth your time.

Favorite Fremont Freshman
After the Fremont bible study (Philippians 3) Sarah and I took an amazing picture. She is one of my favorite freshman.
But during the bible study we played this funny game. We answered five questions and then when one person read the answers aloud one person was elected to guess. The questions were
1. What would you do if you were invisible
2. If you had to, who in this room would you eat (I was chosen twice!)
3. If you were stuck in any movie, what movie would it be?
4. If you could have breakfast/lunch/dinner with any person (dead or alive) who it would be?
5. If you could have any other talent, what would it be?

Film Noir
I really like this picture but I am still anti-winter formal. But I REALLY like this picture. I think I'll go and just stand in the back looking awesome. People will be jealous of me.
